There are currently exchange groups of the SANE Community Exchange System (CES) in South Africa (19), New Zealand (17), Australia (7), United States (5), Israel (3), Argentina (1), India (1), Ireland (1), Norway (1), Zimbabwe (1) and Canada (1). These are all linked through the computerised system so inter-group trading is possible.

This page gives you the opportunity to:

 Register for an account with an existing CES exchange group

If you would like to register for an account with an existing CES exchange group, select your country below and then fill in your details on the next page. Select the exchange group with which you would like to register and then press the [Submit] button. Within 24 hours you will be sent an account number and password, which you can use on the previous page to log in.

For your registration to be accepted contact details are required. These details will not be provided to any third parties. Ensure that you fill in your email address for a rapid response. You may register as a company, a family, an individual or an organisation.

Please provide details of what goods or services you will be able to offer. Exchange groups are small, closed communities so make offerings that are meaningful in that context.

 Start a new exchange group or register an existing one

If there is not a CES exchange in your area why not start one! If you feel that there are enough interested people in your community who might be interested in trading without using our ever-scarce national currencies, or who are troubled by the serious problems created by our current debt-based money system, register a new group. We will contact you after receiving your registration and begin the process of setting it up.

If you are already a member of an existing complementary currency trading group, such as a LETS group, why not register your group with the CES and become part of an international, complementary currency, trading network. By linking your group to the CES you can move your accounts to an internet-based system and take advantage of the many built-in features for administering the group.

Please do not register just to have a look. The demonstration site contains most of the features that appear on the real site. We are seeking active participants who wish to trade with other members of their communities.
